For those of you who do not know our club history, at the beginning of 2023, I decided to move forward with resurrecting our club which had folded in 2018 after 20 years of existence. Now, 3 plus years later, we have 132 members in total and growing, 120 of which are full members, and 49 of those are adults!

As we complete the second year of our strategic plan, we have accomplished a great deal. What a year! The club is officially a 501(c) (3) non profit again which means that all of your donations are tax deductible.

Our skaters passed a combined 94 USFS Tests and had 244 competition entries. We held 3 in person USFS test sessions, had the annual Picnic in 2025 with 52 attending and this year had 91! We gave away $2860 in scholarship funds, held a Halloween Party with 95 attendees, 22 marched in the December parade, and had 8 Junior Board meetings. The Junior Board is growing so much and is open to all full members ages 8 – 17. 79 joined us at Stars on Ice in Hershey, PA and we started our High School Team that has 11 members. Their first competition will be in October!

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026 and part of 2027, our goals are to raise funds, provide more benefits for our members such as classes, events, and shows, acquire business sponsors, increase member participation, continue our strategic plan, grow our member base and increase contributions to financial awards.

Everything we hope to provide is expensive and needs volunteers. We accept donations of funds and goods all year long. Each member is required to give just two hours of their time each year. Let us know how you would like to help!

This has been a team effort. Our club would not be where it is right now without the dedicated board members, parents, skaters and Ice World. It has been my honor and pleasure to have been the club President. Our club and the rink programs have grown so much, I am no longer able to maintain both as President and Skating Director. On September 1st, I will be stepping down as club President and taking over the role as Treasurer. Please help me welcome Holly Reustle as the new President!
